Change

Are you the change you want to see?

Hi Family,

Are you being the change you want to see?

We often throw around these quotes and Bible verses as if they make us deep. But are we actually living what we preach?

Change the former way of life that was part of the person you once were, corrupted by deceitful desires. Ephesians 4:22.

Some of the dreams I had were born out of selfish desires and that is why after I fulfilled them I still felt empty and unsatisfied.

I get it. I’ve made promises I haven’t kept, and I’ve made promises I don’t want to or shouldn’t keep.

I am sorry.

But you know what’s better than saying “I’m sorry”? Change!

So, what can we do?

Learn. Learn from our mistakes.

What were the lessons?

Keep those.

What doesn’t serve us? Before I was married and had children, I let go of what didn’t serve me. That was good when I was single. But as I evolved, the questions changed.

Now the question is: What doesn’t serve the family or the community? These have to go. Like my selfish ways, insecurities, impatience, and inconsistencies.

Remember who you are and why you are here.

Do you know who you are? And why you are here?

It’s time to live out the change we want to see.

Our stories matter, lets share them!

Although, I may be the spokes person here on this blog, this is not about me nor for me. This blog is for my family and friends (even those of you I haven’t met yet!).
